Kevin Mack, MD, MS, embodied all the graces.

Mack died July 14 in a collision during an early morning bus shuttle between the campus of the Parnassus campus of his work at the UCSF-affiliated San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH) where he was a psychiatrist. He was 52.

He was associate clinical professor of psychiatry at UCSF. He was also director of the Educational Technology and Faculty Development in Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Advisory mentor and a member of the Academy T. Debas Haile medical educators.His work extended beyond the Bay Area too, through the World Health Organization and the problem of learning programs he developed for use in Africa and the South Pacific.
